Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

At MakersKit, returns and exchanges are simple because they should be. We want to do right by you, and don't want to make you jump through hoops to resolve an issue.


We currently ship within the US only. Live plants can not be shipped to Alaska or Hawaii. For international orders, please shop with our online partner


If you are dissatisfied with the Product for any reason, MakersKit will refund the amount paid for your purchase. Refund requests must be made directly to MakesKit at All refund requests must be made within thirty (30) days of the date of shipment by MakersKit. MakersKit is not liable for products that are damaged or lost in transit to MakersKit. Promptly following MakersKit’s receipt of your request (typically within five (5) business days), MakersKit will credit the amount paid for the returned Product (less any shipping and handling costs/fees related to the original purchase, which are non-refundable) to the credit card you used to make the original purchase. Notwithstanding the foregoing, MakersKit does not control when a specific credit card company processes a chargeback transaction. You are responsible for contacting your credit card company if you have questions about the status of the chargeback.

MakersKit will not provide a refund for a request that is received by MakersKit more than thirty (30) days after the date of original shipment. MakersKit also does not provide a refund for returned Products that are damaged due to misuse, lack of care, mishandling, accident, abuse or other abnormal use.



Don't love it? Is something missing, or did something break in transit? While it doesn't happen often, we understand. Just let us know what happened at, and we'll send you a replacement part or kit at no cost, as soon as possible. Please let us know within 30 days of your purchase.

Retail Customers
If you purchased a MakersKit product at a retail location, you will need to follow that retailer's returns and exchange policies. Though every retailer's policies are different, having receipt handy is the easiest way process your return or exchange.
