Eye-catching DIY Shibori Indigo Bookmarks
You'll never lose your page again with these bookmarks! Tie-dye fans will love this project. Any old tie-dye shirt will do but if you're looking for a chic touch, find shibori indigo fabric of your choice to create these bookmarks. If you have any other scraps of fabric around, it would also work for this DIY. Sara and Melissa came up with this tutorial to motivate them to read more often this new year.
- shibori indigo dyed fabric scraps
- mod podge
- foam brush
- card stock paper
- hole punch
- suede cords
Looks easy enough right? Make sure you use card stock paper and not regular printer paper. Regular paper won't be able to hold its shape and will become soft from the mod podge glue. The thicker the card stock, the better!
